Without a leg to stand on...

"John Adams has long been a favourite composer of mine. The stimulus for this piece was, in part, the titles of two of the sections I have used. I love the idea of a "relaxed groove" and a "40% swing". I also knew that I wanted to make a piece using chairs, just to increase the amount of legs on stage! I hope that "without a leg to stand on..." will provide the other 60% of the swing! I look forward to making a new work on the dancers of Ballet Pecs." – Julian Moss

I don't give up

Our life is full of struggles. We fight with our parents, our loves and need to live up to the expectations of society. Standing up after big disappointments is always hard. Still it is so natural that we are able to trust again and again. We all want to continue because we wish to live. You are happy if you have a peaceful place to retire and fill up with energy and strength to continue.

Para Bango

A burlesque parade accompanied by fiery, afro-Cuban music. The most unique, colourful, individual ballet dancers process and present a seductive game of squabbling. The dancers show these human games in cock-eyed situations with an explosively erotic movement vocabulary.
